Black Crimson, a.k.a. Black Krim and Black Crim, is a regular leaf, rare tomato plant that produces 3-4" slightly flattened mahogany-red with slight maroon color, beefsteak tomatoes. This delicious tomato has deep green shoulders and green gel around seeds with a slight salty taste, which is great for those folks who prefer not to apply salt to their tomatoes.  Originally from the Isle of Krim on the Black Sea in the former Soviet Union.  Pick soon after ripening, over ripe tomatoes may be prone to slight cracking.
