-Approximately 3 million people a year suffer acute pesticide poisoning and
three hundred thousand people die as a result of accidental pesticide poisoning.

-NASA researchers discovered that house plants like the spider plant can absorb
harmful substances from the air around the home, and that the Boston fern can remove
the toxin formaldehyde which is found in things such as carpets, gas stoves,
plywood, and facial tissues.

-The best looking lawn? Lawn herbicides are easily tracked indoors and can
contaminate your carpet for over a year.

-An EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) study found that lawn herbicide
residues tracked in on home floors became a source of toxic exposure for
young children.

-Love thy neighbor? Spray drift from lawn herbicides has been detected up to
forty five feet away from the spray area, in large enough amounts for the toxic 
residues to be tracked indoors.  

-According to one National Network to Prevent Birth Defects study, the number
of birth defects that are either immediately apparent or become apparent later in
life could be cut in half if parents simply improved their diets and limited their
exposure to toxic substances. 

-Some children who have been identified as having an Attention Deficit Disorder
actually had a nutrition imbalance or food related allergy.  After an appropriate
nutrition/allergy scan was performed, the attention disorder was either cured, or
minimized without drugs and by diet alone.

-Beware of "Face Validity" when buying food.  Just because it looks good does not mean its safe!
